Answer:

Yarn is a type of spun thread which can be used for threading, sewing or knitting. Yarn is made using fibres which can be natural or synthetic. The process by which yarn is made is known as spinning. Spinning involves drawing out strands of fibre from the material being used and twisting them together. We often use devices like Takli or Charkha (spinning wheel) for spinning.
